IBM Thinkpad R51 Type 2887 M2G
Marca: Buono
- PCMCIA - Texas Instruments (TI);
PCI4510 PC Card CardBus Controller; use oldest PCarddirectory drivers; replace PCard.sys and IBM2SS14.SYS by the latest Cardbus drivers from www.ecomstation.com
- SOUND - Latest UNIAUD114rc1 works great
- Network - Wireless: (Vendor 168Ch Atheros Communications Inc, Device 1014h 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter).
This one is not yet supported by current GenMacWrapper driver
- Network - Cable:
(Vendor 8086h Intel Corporation, Device 1077h 82541EI Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Mobile),
Subsystem ID 055B1014h PRO/1000 MT Mobile Connection, Subsystem Vendor 1014h IBM).
Works fine with the Intel(R) pro/1000 driver
- USB - latest drivers from www.ecomstation.com 3x USBUHCD; 1X USBEHCD
- Display drivers - SNAP-os2- 3.1.4 . After installation phase-1,
depending of which eCS version is being installed from, it could be
necessary to return to GENGRADD settings in config.sys (SET C1=GENGRADD
instead of SDDGRADD). That's because not the right SNAP driver is on the
eCS installation CD.
- Note: This Thinkpads key combination Fn+F7 doesn't work to switch
from either LCD mode to CRT mode or LCD+CRT mode. Probably a BIOS/Display
driver question.
