Western Digitial MyBoook Live is a NAS device that can be managed by Firefox or SeaMonkey easily. eComStation and OS/2 can connect using NetDrive or eCS Samba Client. Read from file window works, writes to remote file window generates error so use FM/2 to write files to NAS share.

MyBook Live also has a "Feature Pack" which enables installation of an Apache Webserver and PHP where files can also be managed using PHP eXtplorer.

Firmware updates may require reinstall of Feature Pack but it will start working again.

I also running an WD drive these, and I'm not very satisfied. I use it for backups I do with the rar compressor. And when I launch several simultaneous copies from ECS, some of them do not start. As if released at time intervals separated performed all. For the rest it works.
