Neither LVM nor DFSee can operate on the hard drive properly until the restore partition is disabled in the BIOS. DFSee can shrink the factory installed windows partition enough to get OS/2 or eCS installed. Once FAT32 drivers are installed in OS/2 the windows partition can be made even smaller by zipping it up in OS/2 using PKZip then deleting the partition and allocating a smaller one, formatting it with f32blank and restoring the zip. A little messing around may be needed to get it to boot.
