ASUS A8N-E, AMD dualcore, ATI 9600 video, aic7870 SCSI, D-LINK WIFI, supported by genmac. 2 gig memmory.

While setting up for the logs, etc. for the ticket I remembered I had not tried every possible parameter for ver.3.09. After several tries, I discovered that /smp /acpi /tmr/ /!nod would work. I had tried this on previous versions with out success (3.06 may have worked, I did not try it on the ecs20rc5 install). I tried other parameters, /als /cd etc. and removed them until system would not boot. I am positive I had tried this with previous versions - both ACPI and ECS2.0rcx. I had read do not use /!nod, but it worked here and the 3.09 docs say it can be used.
