The hardware's better than any existing OS/2 backup software. Transfers data at 6mb/sec or 300mb/min in native (uncompressed) mode. I get acceptable speed and reliability with PC-BaX and gtak/gtar. There are SCSI and ATAPI versions but I had no luck with the latter. Also will not work at full speed with Adaptec AICU160.ADD on certain cards because of a bug in the driver. I use an LSI Logic card and SYM8XX.ADD.
